I have learned this business from the ground up with over 25 years in the mortgage industry. I began my career outside the mortgage world as an auditor upon graduating from Southern Illinois University with a degree in accounting. I started working with the Big 8 accounting firm Coopers and Lynbrand then later moved on to work in auditing, tax accounting and real estate syndication with McEvoy and McEvoy, LLP in Springfield Illinois.
In 1986 I joined with Paul Diamond in the mortgage industry working for Lumbermen’s Investment Corporation. Then in 1989 I assisted in the development of the arrangement with Centex Corporation “CTX Mortgage Company” where I served as a Top Loan Officer, Sales Manager and later as Division Vice President. While serving as Division Vice President of CTX Mortgage Company I ran the most profitable division in Illinois overseeing many branches for CTX. In 2004 along with many others from the Great Lakes CTX Region joined with First Magnus Financial Corporation. With First Magnus I was the Regional Vice President of the State of Illinois for the Midwest District. Then in 2007 I joined forces with Flagstar Bank. I served as the District Manager of the Illinois Group until 2009 I assisted in the development of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation where I am the currently Chief Financial Officer. I am a very detailed and accomplished mortgage professional that truly understands all the inter-workings of the mortgage business.
I currently reside in Gurnee, IL with my wife Tracy and our four children. We all are very active within our community. I enjoy competing in Triathlons and have participated in the Hawaiian Ironman World Championships six times.
