Diana Whitmire | VP Operations
I began my career in the mortgage industry right after my high school graduation. My first job was with Lumberman’s Investment Corporation in 1986. I started from the ground up in operations working in processing, closing, underwriting, FHA Insuring, VA loan guarantee and loan delivery. I have also spent time working with loan origination, compliance and quality control. In 1989 I joined with CTX Mortgage Company where I served as a Loan Closer, Closing/Post Closing Manager, Branch Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager. During this time took multiple MBA training programs, management training programs as well as FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC based trainings.
After a 15 year tenure with CTX I moved on to work for First Magnus Financial Corporation dba—Charter Funding and then later Flagstar Bank. While working with both of these companies I served as the Midwest District Operations Manager.
Through my 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry I have developed a tremendous amount of knowledge and real time experience which I have been able to use to help and develop others in the work place. In 2009 I assisted in the development, planning and creation of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation, “DRMC”. Currently I am serving as the Vice President of Operations and continue to assist in underwriting, closing, funding, post closing, and processing as well as providing support in the compliance and QC areas.
I am a happily married mother of 4 wonderful children. In my free time I enjoy camping, cooking and just spending as much time as possible with my family and their many activities.
