Over the years, beginning on the street as a loan officer in the very early 80’s and later as part of executive management with major national mortgage players, I have witnessed the real estate and mortgage lending industry change. Today the mortgage industry has moved away from recognizing the importance of great service and long-term market relationships. Many in the industry seem to forget that when the customer comes first, everything else will fall into place.
